ChangeYourStrings

Every photograph of a real person on Change Your Strings is listed below with source URL, credit line, and date sourced. We use photos editorially to identify the subject of commentary, a producer whose work we analyze, an artist whose rig we document, a quoted source cited on a Q&A page. We honor takedown requests within 48 hours without argument. Takedown: hello@changeyourstrings.com.

Sourcing policy

Every photo on this page was sourced in this priority order: (1) the subject's own press kit or company website; (2) the subject's verified official Instagram or YouTube avatar; (3) press-distributed photos with visible attribution on the distributing publication. We do not use paparazzi photography, Getty or premium wire service images, or any photograph the subject has publicly objected to. Commercial context: Change Your Strings is an affiliate-monetized editorial reference site; we use these photos to identify the people whose work we cite, not as endorsements of any product.

Takedowns

If you are the subject of a photograph on this page and you would prefer it removed, email hello@changeyourstrings.com. We will replace the image with a monogram placeholder within 48 hours and not use it again. No argument, no process, we respect your preference on first ask. The surrounding editorial commentary remains (the page is still about your public work), but the photograph itself comes down.

Change Your Strings is in the process of sourcing person photos for our producer, artist, and quote-library indexes. Until each photo clears our sourcing review, the affected card renders a two-initial monogram placeholder instead of a face. This page will populate automatically as photos are cleared. See /producers and /artists for the current state.

About this page

Photo credits auto-generate from the image frontmatter block on each person page (producers, artists, quote-library subjects). We do not maintain this list by hand, if it's here, it's because the page it refers to has a populated source URL and credit line stored alongside the editorial content. Drift between the photo and the credit is structurally impossible.
